Wii System Menu 4.0 Launched

Nintendo President Satoru Iwata’s unveiled Wii System Menu 4.0 at GDC.

The update is available now , the main noteable change is the ability to use high capacity SD cards (up to 32GB)

Another feature announced is the ability to download content directly to the SD card and run Virtual Console titles straight from it.

The “SD Card Menu” can be accessed straight from the main Wii System Menu 4.0, after you’ve updated a new button appears to the right of the Wii button in the bottom left of the dashboard.

Finally, Nintendo is also pushing out the new “Virtual Console Arcade”, which brings old skool arcade titles to the Wii.
